We are absolutely delighted to announce that Marlow Valley Bacchus has been selected for inclusion in the Golden 50 Wine List at the 2025 Vineyard & Winery Show, taking place on November 19th. This recognition places our boutique vineyard in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, among the top English wine producers in the country.
Marlow Valley Bacchus Honoured in the Golden 50 Wine List 2025
Judged by WineGB and Vineyard Magazine, the Golden 50 highlights the finest wines that have achieved gold or platinum medals across leading national and international competitions. To qualify for this prestigious accolade, a wine must have been awarded Gold or higher at least once during the year — a testament to its exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
This year’s Golden 50 was chosen from 110 English wines that achieved top honours in 2025 across renowned competitions including the WineGB Awards, Welsh Wine Awards, Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge (IWC), International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships, Global Masters, Sommelier Wine Awards, London Wine Competition, and the Sommeliers Choice Awards.
Celebrating Excellence at the Vineyard & Winery Show
As a family-run English vineyard dedicated to producing distinctive, small-batch wines, we are immensely proud that our Bacchus English white wine has earned a place among the UK’s most celebrated vintages. Crafted with passion in the Chiltern Hills, our Bacchus captures the essence of the local terroir — crisp, aromatic, and full of character.
Recognition Among the Best English Wines of 2025
During the Vineyard & Winery Show, all wines in the Golden 50 will feature within a dedicated WineHub, where visitors can taste and discover these award-winning bottles. Each wine will also be showcased in Vineyard Magazine, on WineGB’s website, and in the official visitor guide — ensuring the best of English wine receives the recognition it truly deserves.
We look forward to celebrating alongside fellow producers and wine lovers who continue to elevate English wines to new heights.
Check out our wines.
